Their swift free agency maneuvers to grab Mike Remmers and Riley Reiff signified just how desperate the Minnesota Vikings were to upgrade their edge protection. Problem is those two don’t entirely solve the problem. They’re more just serviceable veterans who can hold things down for a time until the team can find a more long-term answer. Somebody to really upgrade the position into respectability. <p>Connor Williams was a huge reason why Texas had such a productive offense last year. He’s exactly what the Vikings are looking for given he size, length and quick feet. Pass protection is his strength but the success of D’Onta Foreman on the ground proves he can do his fair share of run blocking as well.
