#3:  Cleveland Browns:  C. Kessler vs. B. Osweiler vs. D. Kizer

Probably the most wide open competition in the NFL at present. The Cleveland Browns are reshaping their entire roster and none is more important than quarterback. In truth there isn’t a clear cut leader in this group. Just a trio of interesting names. Brock Osweiler is of course the biggest at present. Once a former backup emerging from the shadow of Peyton Manning, he’s now a failed starter from Houston trying to prove that what happened last year was a fluke.

Cody Kessler is the veteran of the Browns system. He actually played pretty well at times in 2016 though he looked like the rookie he was. Could he take a big step as the game slows down for him? Then there’s DeShone Kizer. Once hailed as a surefire lock for the #1 overall pick, the Notre Dame quarterback had an up-and-down 2016. That was enough to drop his stock into 2nd round territory. Now he’s anxious to show people were too quick to judge him.
