#1:  Todd Bowles (New York Jets)

The fact that he was almost fired this offseason should pretty much say that Todd Bowles is at the top of the list. Word was rampant that the New York Jets were about ready to make a change after such a disappointing 2016 season. In the end ownership decided to give him another chance. Of course that doesn’t change the fact that the Jets have loads of roster questions. Many of which haven’t been fully answered, especially at the quarterback position.

Josh McCown? Bryce Petty? Christian Hackenberg? Not exactly a stellar group of talents. Then there’s the depleted offensive line, thinned out receiving corps and aging running back Matt Forte. It feels like a ton of the pressure will be on the Jets defense this year. That may be Bowles’ specialty, but it didn’t help him much last season. All predictions state the Jets will be one of the 2-3 worst teams in the NFL by seasons’ end. That almost assures he’ll be fired.
