Seattle Seahawks: Can the team rely on Eddie Lacy?

It is well documented that running back Eddie Lacy has had weight issues the past few seasons in the NFL. His new Seahawks contract provides provisions should he meet certain weight requirements. As recent as last season, Lacy reached the neighborhood of 265 pounds, which also raised questions about his ankle injuries the past few seasons.

Part of the reason why the Packers were reluctant to bring Lacy on long term were his continuous weight issues. The Packers lacked trust in Lacy and to be honest, the Seahawks should be concerned as well. Granted, a change of scenery fuels plenty of players. It fuels them to improve their play, and the same can be said for Lacy.
