While this may seem outlandish, it is anything but. Carr was having a season for the record books, maybe even MVP caliber, until he suffered a broken leg towards the end of the regular season. The Raiders were undoubtedly on a crash course to meet the Patriots in the AFC Championship before losing Carr. After adding a pass-catching threat in the form of tight end Jared Cook, Raider Nation would likely witness their first AFC Championship berth, if not Super Bowl appearance, since falling to Jon Gruden’s Bucs in the early 2000’s.

Tom Brady is unsurprisingly atop this list, as he’s arguably the best quarterback ever. As the defending Super Bowl champions, the Patriots are as primed as ever for a deep playoff run by none other than Tom Terrific. Oh, and they added Brandin Cooks to the equation, one of the league’s premier pass-catchers. Expect Brady to reach if not win the Super Bowl for an unprecedented sixth time.
