NFL Power Rankings: Quarterbacks Post-NFL Draft
Already a two-time Super Bowl champion, Eli Manning now has the best receiving corps he’s ever had. Odell Beckham Jr. and newly-signed veteran Brandon Marshall form what is arguably the NFL’s best receiving tandem. Also, don’t forget sophomore standout Sterling Shepard in the slot. If only Manning had a dangerous running game to complement the lethal aerial assault, as Paul Perkins doesn’t exactly send chills down defenders’ spines. However, Manning’s weapons are as good as it gets, making Manning’s job very easy. If the offensive line can give him a split-second to throw, he could be one of the best in the league. For now, we’ll have to settle for the back end of the upper half of the NFL’s signal-callers for the Patriot neutralizer.
Luck finally had his injured shoulder operated on after playing through obvious pain for a over a year. With his arm somewhat if not completely back to normal, Luck could return to being one of the league’s premier passers. He has some weapons in T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. The ageless Frank Gore remains in the backfield as a change of pace option. Don’t be shocked if Indy reaches the playoffs on Luck’s shoulders, literally and figuratively.
