The Philadelphia Eagles still feel like a team that is planning to make one or two trades before the 2017 season begins. This is Howie Roseman after all.

No GM loves to wheel and deal more than him. There are a few players still on the roster that most experts had thought would already be gone by now. Instead Roseman has been patient. No doubt he’s hoping for a similar situation to Sam Bradford developing like last year. A key player on another team gets hurt and he pounces with a high price demand for the player in question. Mychal Kendricks will likely be his big worm to dangle.

Ever since the Eagles switched schemes, the young linebacker has seemed out of place. Even so he remains a solid talent who should be able to contribute in the right situation. So where could he end up going? Here are a couple scenarios to consider.

More from NFL Mocks

To Cincinnati Bengals for RB Jeremy Hill

Philadelphia has some speed and athleticism going at the running back position. That’s good. The problem is they’re somewhat of a finesse team at the moment. They still lack a presence in the backfield who can provide a serious punch. Somebody with power. Cincinnati knows Jeremy Hill will be a free agent in 2018 and they just drafted Joe Mixon. That is a clear indication Hill could be on his way out. Why not flip him for a talented linebacker who can add some help to an underwhelming corps?

To Kansas City Chiefs for a draft pick

Kansas City just makes so much sense for Kendricks. They run a 3-4 defense, which he seems to favor versus the 4-3 Philadelphia has switched to. In addition the Chiefs have Andy Reid at head coach, the man who helped get Kendricks drafted a few years ago by the Eagles. To top it off the Chiefs defense is sorely in need of young talent at inside linebacker. He could be the solution to their biggest problem, which is an aging Derrick Johnson.

To Baltimore Ravens for RB Terrance West

Terrance West is a free agent in 2018 and last word was the Ravens might be making a push to secure LeGarrette Blount as a free agent. That would make West expendable. He’s the sort of tough, inside runner who could make a fine pairing with one of the speedy backs the Eagles have and at an affordable price as well. Besides that the Ravens have a void to fill at inside linebacker after losing young All-Pro Zach Orr to retirement.
