Day 3
4th Round: DeDe Westbrook (WR, Oklahoma)
Adding more speed to the offense is never a bad thing. Westbrook has plenty of that. Along with the agility and athleticism to go with it. The problems emerge with his thinner frame and shorter size, inviting injuries. To say nothing of his long background of issues off the field. The upside is what they’re banking on here.

5th Round: Blair Brown (LB, Ohio)
Sometimes it’s not about the size or the speed with a player. It’s about whether he can make plays. Blair Brown makes up for not being overly big or fast with great awareness and instinct. He’s always around the ball and has enough strength to fight through blocks to make tackles. Provided he’s not asked to play sideline to sideline, he can be good.
Grade: B
7th Round: Jalen Myrick (CB, Minnesota)
There is no substitute for speed in the NFL. Players who have it can do well if they apply their trade completely. Jalen Myrick is the latest to have that chance after showcasing his blistering running ability at the combine. The trick will be can he overcome size limitations along with inconsistent tackling and instinct?
Grade: C+
7th Round: Marquez Williams (CB, Florida State)
Tackling is also not the forte of Marquez Williams either, but he proved at the Senior Bowl this won’t necessarily stop him from being a good cover man. He showed he can handle himself one-on-one with wide receivers. He’s got the foot quickness, discipline and size to match up well. Discipline will be the name of the game for him.
