4. Sam Hubbard (DE – Ohio State)

The two best rushers off the edge in next year’s draft are expected to be Sam Hubbard of Ohio State and Arden Key of LSU. While both are top talents at the next level, they’re completely different players. As the bigger, more powerful of the two, Hubbard has a much better chance of being the number one pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Key is the more athletic prospect, however he’s solely an outside linebacker. There are also unanswered questions as to why Key left the team this offseason. Hubbard possesses the size and speed to play defensive end or outside linebacker in the NFL. The Buckeyes are once again loaded with next-level talent and Hubbard is the best of the group.

Hubbard compares well to both Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney from a size standpoint. If he can continue to produce at Ohio State and put up similar numbers at the Scouting Combine, Hubbard will be in the discussion for the top pick.
