2017 NFL Draft: Best Offensive Players Available On Day 2
By Erik Lambert
Offensive Tackle:
Cam Robinson (Alabama) – In terms of talent there is no argument that Robinson is a top 15 pick easy. He’s got mammoth size, long arms, power and better athleticism that some might think. A road grader in the ground game who can handle his business in pass protection against all but elite speed. At the same time he’s also gotten himself into trouble with some gun-related arrests. Has he learned his lesson or will he continue to be reckless? That is what teams must weigh.
Antonio Garcia (Troy) – The Troy standout was great in 2016 as a pass blocker and helped himself with a solid performance at the Senior Bowl. He’s a big, natural athlete made for left tackle. The big sticking point with him was weight and power. He lacked both and needed to improve them. Word is he’s corrected the weight issues, going from 280 to 306. Now it’s a matter of whether not he’ll be able to anchor against some of those nasty bull rushers.
