Tight End:

Gerald Everett (South Alabama) – Another of those new wave tight ends. They look like a cross between a running back and wide receiver. Big but not huge, fast but not blazing. Hard to fit at other positions, but at tight end matched up against linebackers and safeties? Constant mismatch. That about sums up what makes Gerald Everett so dangerous. He just has that mix of size and speed to go along with a sense for finding the open dead spot make a play.

Adam Shaheen (Ashland) – Easily one of the biggest shooting stars of the draft process. Coming out of Ashland college, it would take a significant statement to get noticed. Shaheen did that by dominating his competition. A true receiving threat at tight end with Rob Gronkowski-like size and speed. He may not be the ideal blocker but it’s apparent the young man has a knack for catching passes. Put in such a situation there’s a chance he could be a steal.
