Wide Receiver:

Zay Jones (East Carolina) – One of the best self-made stars of the pre-draft process. Jones was  a hugely productive receiver at East Carolina but people weren’t sure how he’d do against real competition. Then he lit up the Senior Bowl and followed that with a terrific combine. He’s got size, speed and good hands. All the trappings of a potential stud at the position. There really isn’t much else he can do to prove he deserves an opportunity.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (USC) – People loved to get on his case for not being overly fast but that was never what made Smith-Schuster so good at USC. It was his toughness, his strength and his ability to run after the catch. This has drawn some comparisons to the ageless Anquan Boldin. He may not fit the traditional mold of a top receiver, but at the end of the day JuJu is going to make a defense pay for not giving him more respect.
