The 2017 NFL draft is through the first leg of the journey. Now comes the fun part. Seeing who might’ve slipped through the cracks.

This is one of the deeper classes in recent memory at a host of different positions. Day two is at hand and there are plenty of big names still out there at every spot that should get selected soon enough. Who are the biggest ones to watch though? Here is a rundown of the top offensive players left on the board from quarterback on down to offensive guard and center. Be sure that some of these names will be called very early when the action starts again.

Quarterback:

DeShone Kizer (Notre Dame) – Concerns about his mental makeup, specifically regarding some “diva” qualities are likely what led to DeShone Kizer slipping down boards. From a pure talent standpoint he is a top 10 pick all the way. The Notre Dame standout has a gun for an arm, a big 6’4″ frame and can run like a running back. He’s also intelligent, having worked a fairly complex offense in school. He’s just not ready yet and needs time to mature.

Davis Webb (Cal) – So much for those rumors that he would go in the 1st round. Truthfully it was never likely that Webb would go that high but it doesn’t change the fact he’s still a talented young man. At 6’5″ he features the prototypical size for the NFL with a live arm that can hit receivers at any level of the field. He’s the son of a coach and understands football psychology. He’ll just need work on his lower body fundamentals and consistency.
