Deshaun Watson. 5. player. 53. TEN Receives: 2017 1st round pick (12th overall) 2017 2nd round pick (52nd overall), 2017 4th round pick (108th overall)
CLE Receives: 2017 1st round pick (5th overall)
Despite trading for Brock Osweiler, I still believe that the Browns want a quarterback. With the apparent smokescreen of the Buffalo Bills desperately wanting a quarterback, the Browns can pull the trigger. Over the last year, the Titans have displayed their ability to trade back and gain more picks and I think it makes a lot of sense for them to do it again. As for the Browns, they have enough in their arsenal to make that move up to grab their quarterback. Especially with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills selecting before them.

Here’s what he did at the Combine:

Height: 6’2
Weight: 221 lbs.
40-yard dash: 4.66 seconds
Vertical jump: 32.5 inches
Broad jump: 119 inches
3-cone drill: 6.95 seconds
20-yard shuttle: 4.31 seconds

With this pick, the Browns grab Deshaun Watson and get the quarterback that is the most pro-ready. He’d be a fit for what Hue Jackson is looking for in finally establishing his own quarterback. Throughout his career, Watson completed 138 passes out of 205 attempts. He had a 67% completion percentage for 1614 yards, 16 touchdowns, and two interceptions. That’s without counting what he can do when scrambling out of the pocket. For what it’s worth, he has 435 career rushing attempts, 1934 rushing yards, and 26 touchdowns.

Production isn’t something you question when it comes to Watson. However, decision-making and downfield vision is something that always enters into consideration. With 30 interceptions in his last 30 games, he’ll need to clean that up. If he doesn’t, his starting window will close. Overall, you get a quarterback who’s a strong runner, displays good pocket mobility and can manage the game with his arm.
. Quarterback. Clemson
