Adding players like Adrian Peterson, Ted Ginn Jr., and O.J. Howard, the Saints should put a primary focus on the defense for the rest of the draft. With edge rushers starting to fall off the board, they will strongly consider getting one with their second pick of the first round.
Taco Charlton is a long player at 6’6″ and has terrific upside. He’s gotten better every year he’s been on a football field. He displays a strong balance of pass rushing ability and can hold his own in run support. Charlton might never be a stud at the next level but pairing him next to Cameron Jordan should lead to solid production with either edge position. This gives the Saints an incredible front four on defense. Cameron Jordan, Sheldon Rankins, Nick Fairley and Taco Charlton sounds like a great group of defensive lineman.
. Defensive End.
