One of the biggest draft discussions for the Falcons is for them to find an edge rusher opposite of Vic Beasley. With this pick, they’ll have plenty of players to chose from. Whether it be Jordan Willis, T.J. Watt or Taco Charlton. There is a lot depth for finding an edge rusher but it’s all about finding the right one.

The Falcons have met with Tyus Bowser and with how he’s measured out, he’d be a fit to go opposite of Beasley. Here’s how he measured out at the Combine:

Height: 6’3
Weight: 247 lbs.
40-yard dash: 4.65 seconds
Bench press: 21 reps
Vertical jump: 37.5 inches
Broad jump: 127 inches
3-cone drill: 6.75

With only 8 games played in 2016, Bowser found a way to have his most productive season at Houston. He finished with 47 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and eight sacks. He’s an athlete who rushes the passer well but he needs to improve what he does in run support. Bowser dips his shoulder well off the edge and plays tight off the edge to not give up much ground. His upside is terrific and he could become a difference maker being paired with Beasley.
. Linebacker. Houston. Tyus Bowser. 31. player. 44
