Cornerback. Washington. Kevin King. 30. player. 55. This won’t be a pick that excites fans but it should. King is a versatile defensive back who can play both cornerback and safety. He’s got great length at 6’3″ and has been a productive player for the Washington Huskies.
Over the last three seasons, King has six interceptions and 21 pass deflections. He locates the ball well when it’s in the air and has the length to match bigger receivers in jump ball situations. King will struggle with faster receivers and at times, is too high in backpedal. He’s not the most physical player on the field but he does an above average job when coming up and tackling in run support.
