Honestly, there shouldn’t be a debate about this pick anymore. There’s absolutely no way that the Browns take a quarterback with the first pick. Myles Garrett is the best player in this draft and he a makes the most sense for a team that needs the best players possible.
From a production standpoint, Garrett is very similar to Jadeveon Clowney. They both had 47 tackles for loss coming out of college and Garrett had much higher sack numbers. Throughout his career at Texas A&M, he finished with 31 sacks.

Relentless off the edge is one of the many characteristics that Garrett possess. He’s fluid off the edge with the best bending ability and counter moves in the draft. His hands are always moving and he’s fierce in run support.

There aren’t many weaknesses within Garrett’s game. However, if I could point one thing out, it would be to shed blocks sooner. There are times that he might be a step or two late when getting off the block. Either way, the Browns get a player that should make an immediate impact for their organization. As they bring in Gregg Williams, as their defensive coordinator, he should have fun using him.
. Defensive End. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett. 1. player. 53
