54. Truly, I understand the talent that Corey Davis has. However, he’s been a tough evaluation for me and that’s because of how this draft season has gone for him. He’s been completely limited with his ankle injury. I do know how productive he’s been from a college standpoint. But we can’t always bank on that. Sure, Michael Crabtree bounced back from his injury coming out of Texas Tech but look at Sammy Watkins. He hasn’t played a full season since his rookie season and that’s because of leg injuries piling up. One can only hope that doesn’t happen with Corey Davis.
For the Philadelphia Eagles, they could be looking into finding another weapon in their offense. They obviously added Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith but both players are only on one-year contracts and I’m sure they’ll lose at least one of them in next year’s free agency. Having a player like Corey Davis would give him a year to get his health in order and to learn the Eagles offense.

With that being said, Corey Davis is a productive player coming out of Western Michigan. At 6’3″ and 210 lbs., there’s a lot to like with him. He’s most productive in the slot but he can still line up on the outside. While having 97 receptions for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns this past season, there’s always been that break-away speed on display. Constantly consistent on the field but now the question is, can he stay healthy? Certainly, I hope so for a player that’s productive in every area on the field. Pairing him with Carson Wentz could lead to years of success for the Eagles.
. Wide Receiver. Western Michigan. Corey Davis. 14. player
