6. New York Jets

Mitch Trubisky . 6. player. 30. There is no skirting around the fact. The New York Jets badly need stability at quarterback. Mitch Trubisky may be inexperienced but he’s also more polished as a pass than any other in the class. Given some mentoring from Josh McCown, his long-term future would be bright.. QB. North Carolina

39. New York Jets

OLB. Alabama. Tim Williams . 39. player. 30. The concerns over Tim Williams are well known. He had drug problems in college. He hasn’t hidden from these issues, to his credit but he’ll likely still fall. At this point though the dynamic edge rusher would be too good for the Jets to pass up. He’s everything they don’t have.

70. New York Jets

30. The Jets have produced some quality offensive lines over the past decade plus. A big reason for that is their ability to find and develop great centers. Pat Elflein could end up being that heir apparent to Nick Mangold. He’s got the rare mix of intelligence, toughness and athleticism.. C. Ohio State. Pat Elflein . 70. player

107. New York Jets

player. 30. The demise of Darrelle Revis really showcased how thin the Jets are in the secondary at cornerback. They must start loading up on young bodies who can cover. Cameron Sutton not only provides that, but he’ll bring added value as a legit punt returner as well.. CB. Tennessee. Cameron Sutton . 107

150. New York Jets

30. People will go day and night denouncing his lack of athleticism but that didn’t seem to matter at the Senior Bowl. Lorenzo Jerome just finds the football. Not only that. He takes it away too. Elite instinct can compensate for so much, even in the NFL.. S. St. Francis. Lorenzo Jerome . 150. player

191. New York Jets

191. player. 30. Jalen Robinette didn’t run pro-style routes at Air Force, so he’s coming in very raw. At the same time his mix of size, big hands and speed make him a true high upside developmental prospect. Given the Jets just dumped Brandon Marshall, they need depth at wide receiver.. WR. Air Force. Jalen Robinette

224. New York Jets

DT. Colorado. Josh Tupou . 224. player. 30. The success of the Jets defense hinges on their ability to stop the run first. That makes nose tackle critical. Thus far their options at that position haven’t produced. Josh Tupou isn’t much of an athlete but he’s very large and powerful. Put him in the middle and he’ll be hard to move.
