22. Miami Dolphins

59. There are few better feelings than drafting local products. The Dolphins taking David Njoku out of Miami is so fitting, but also easy to understand. The tight end is a monster after the catch, can block and fills a big hole in that offense. It’s just good all around.. TE. Miami Fl.. David Njoku . 22. player

54. Miami Dolphins

Continuing to bolster the offensive line is not a crime. Left guard is a vacant spot the Dolphins should try to fill in order to make their front a strength. Dorian Johnson showed he could be that bully blocker with his great run at Pitt.. OG. Pitt. Dorian Johnson . 54. player. 59

97. Miami Dolphins

DT. UCLA. Eddie Vanderdoes . 97. player. 59. Health was a problem for Eddie Vanderdoes at UCLA but he showed resilience by coming back from knee problems. He wasn’t quite 100% by the time he declared, but he was close. When at full tilt he can be a handful as an interior pass rusher.

166. Miami Dolphins

WR. Louisville. Jamari Staples . 166. player. 59. He’s far from a polished gem but Jamari Staples has that size-speed ratio NFL teams covet in their receivers. If he can learn the cerebral part of the game? He’ll be a steal.

178. Miami Dolphins

LB. Western Michigan. Keion Adams . 178. player. 59. He was primarily a pass rusher in school, so that means he’ll bring value as a blitzer but Adams is a good enough athlete to where he can find a fit in the Dolphins scheme at outside linebacker.

184. Miami Dolphins

Ole Miss. Fadol Brown . 184. player. 59. The technique and explosion are lacking with Brown but his size, length and power stand out almost immediately. He’ll require lots of coaching, but if the light goes on the traits are already in place.. DE

223. Miami Dolphins

59. Sort of a hit-and-miss safety. McQuay has ideal size at 6’2″ with athleticism and ball skills but he’s also out of position a lot. The guy must learn to play with better discipline.. S. USC. Leon McQuay . 223. player
