21. Detroit Lions

50. Outside of Ezekiel Ansah, who has been the Lone Ranger up front since Ndamukong Suh left, who is the other top tier defensive lineman the Lions have? Nobody. Derek Barnett was a highly productive pass rusher at Tennessee. He’s an alpha hunter who understands how to win with both power and finesse.. DE. Tennessee. Derek Barnett . 21. player

53. Detroit Lions

50. Matthew Stafford has never had a running game. Not really. It’s pretty much been him carrying the offense. Detroit has to change that. D’Onta Foreman is that big, strong back who is hard to tackle and can be fed 20-25 times a game. He’ll ease the pressure on Stafford.. RB. Texas. D'Onta Foreman . 53. player

85. Detroit Lions

CB. Florida. Teez Tabor . 85. player. 50. His pre-draft process was pretty much a disaster but Teez Tabor still has good tape on his side. When healthy he was a quality cover corner who could force takeaways and didn’t give up a lot of quality completions. Across from Darius Slay he’ll be a welcome addition.

127. Detroit Lions

D.J. Jones . 127. player. 50. Again. The defensive line is absolutely key to the success of the Lions defense. D.J. Jones is a stocky defensive tackle who can use his natural leverage and quickness to create pressure up the middle.. DT. Mississippi State

165. Detroit Lions

50. DeAndre Levy being cut was a sharp reminder of how thin the Lions have gotten at linebacker. Elijah Lee helps with the depth and has enough athletic traits to become an eventual starter.. LB. Kansas State. Elijah Lee . 165. player

205. Detroit Lions

Laval. Antony Auclair . 205. player. 50. Probably one of the sleepers in this draft. He’s a big athlete with good hands and some blocking prowess. Coming from Canada though Auclair likely will slip into the later rounds.. TE

215. Detroit Lions

Grambling. Chad Williams . 215. player. 50. A receiver who got a lot of targets at Grambling and made the most out of them. He’s got a good mix of size and speed but little route running skill. Coaching is key with him.. WR

250. Detroit Lions

50. The depth at quarterback took a hit for the Lions this offseason. Antonio Pipkin has the look of another Tyrod Taylor. Undersized but athletic with a sneaky good arm. Good backup material.. QB. Tiffin. Antonio Pipkin . 250. player
