11. New Orleans Saints

player. 15. Haason Reddick showed throughout the predraft process that he’s more than a one-trick pony. He can do so much for a defense whether it’s tackling, dropping into coverage or providing an extra pass rusher when needed. He’s a quick-twitch athlete with laser focus on every snap.. LB. Temple. Haason Reddick . 11

32. New Orleans Saints

15. They’ve put it off for long enough. The Saints badly need a quarterback they can mold behind Drew Brees. Davis Webb is a big, strong-armed kid from Cal who is the son of a coach. Interviews have shown a mature young man eager to work and get better. Under Sean Payton? That should go well.. QB. Cal. Davis Webb . 32. player

42. New Orleans Saints

42. player. 15. Cornerback play has been a real mess for the Saints going back years. They’ve tried different ways to fix it without success. So they decide the simpler route is best. Tre’Davious White is a well-developed cover man right out of their backyard at LSU. He’s tough, athletic and ready to play.. CB. LSU. Tre'Davious White

76. New Orleans Saints

DE. Auburn. Carl Lawson . 76. player. 15. That elusive second rusher to compliment Cameron Jordan has almost become the White Whale for the Saints. Thankfully they land someone in Carl Lawson who can fill that void. Don’t be fooled by his shorter stature, he brings power and more than a little bite off the edge to create pressure.

103. New Orleans Saints

Clemson. Jordan Leggett . 103. player. 15. Coby Fleener didn’t turn out to be the productive free agent at tight end they’d hoped for. So the Saints need to think about alternatives. When Jordan Leggett was motivated, his mix of size, speed and soft hands made for a murderous target over the middle. Especially in the big games.. TE

196. New Orleans Saints

15. New Orleans has never feared employing the undersized running backs when it’s clear they have diverse skill sets to employ. Donnel Pumphrey is one such type. His mixture of agility, quickness and vision make him a nightmare in open space. Music to the ear of somebody like Payton.. RB. San Diego State. Donnel Pumphrey . 196. player

229. New Orleans Saints

OG. Michigan. Kyle Kalis . 229. player. 15. Depth along the offensive line is never a bad idea. Brees isn’t getting any younger and needs all the security possible. Kyle Kalis isn’t the best athlete for a guard but he makes up for it with flawless technique and toughness. If he’s not asked to move too much, he can be a reliable blocker.
