1. player. 53. Taking Myles Garrett No. 1 overall is a no-brainer for the Cleveland Browns. Not only is he the unanimous top prospect, but he comes to Cleveland and immediately helps improve one of the worst defenses in all of football. While the Browns have other positions of need, such as quarterback, Garrett is too great of a prospect to pass up.
This pick is easier to make as the Browns also have the No. 12 overall pick, thus giving the team a chance to select a quarterback, or another skill player in the first round. But passing on Garrett would be a mistake, given his amazing potential.

It is a pick that seemingly any team would make, and Garrett’s physical abilities make it clear that he is the top prospect for a reason. His 40-yard dash time resembles that of a defensive back, showing his ability to be a dynamic defender who can not only rush the passer, but make tackles in the open field. Add in his strength and it is clear he is ready to be a star.

This Browns team needs to draft talent, regardless of position, and Garrett is the clear top talent in this draft. He will now join Danny Shelton and Emmanuel Ogbah to form perhaps the best defensive line in Cleveland in the past two decades.
. DL. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett
