It’s no secret the Steelers’ biggest needs lie in the secondary. Their reliance on zone and inability to defend the deep ball made the Steelers the perfect target for Tom Brady’s wrath last year.

William Gay is getting older, Ross Cockrell has fared well but lacks some of the intangibles you look for in cornerbacks, Artie Burns is still progressing and Senquez Golson looks more and more like a misfire everyday. The Steelers need some bonafide talent at the cornerback position. And that’s exactly what they get with Teez Tabor.

Tabor has started sliding down draft boards for his disappointing pro-day and combine performance. Despite his recent drop in popularity, Tabor still possesses a lot of the ability and ball skills the Steelers could use. He has optimal size and intangibles to add a different dynamic to the Steelers secondary. And the fire Tabor plays with will allow him fit right into the hard nosed, smash-mouth culture bred in Pittsburgh.
