32. Seattle Seahawks (via NO)

player. 36. The Seattle Seahawks haven’t been able to get back to the Super Bowl since 2014. Why is this? There are many reasons but the primary one that sticks out most is they’ve lost their edge in the trench. Both on offense and defense. Given how this team forged its identity, it makes sense they would focus on the defensive side where they’re still trying to find an interior presence to complement their solid trio of edge rushers.
Caleb Brantley has been somewhat overlooked coming out of Florida. Partly because of some off-the-field concerns but mostly the fact he’s in a strong defensive line class. He’s a well-built, strong player who can hold the point of attack against the run but still retains the quickness and burst to be a factor as an three-technique pass rusher up the middle. Exactly the sort of presence Seattle needs.
. DT. Florida. Caleb Brantley . 32
