25. Houston Texans

25. player. 10. Rumors persist that DeShone Kizer is in store for a pretty steep fall after months of hype that he could be the first quarterback off the board. Reported concerns about his lack of development at Notre Dame and possible diva qualities in his personality. It’s hard to say whether it’s true. None the less he’s only 21-years old. The guy is still growing and maturing as a person. It doesn’t change the fact that he might be the most talented QB in this class.
The Houston Texans can’t afford to be picky at this point. Tom Savage and Brandon Weeden are their only two viable options on the roster. This after their ill-advised one-year experiment with Brock Osweiler. This is really the only team in the NFL that is a quarterback away from contending. The addition of Kizer brings more talent and depth to the position. Neither of which is a bad thing.
. QB. Notre Dame. Deshone Kizer
