Steadily it has declined into a state of near-irrelevance. They’re relying too much on their stout defensive line and excellent secondary to do the job. If this defense wants to go from really good to great though, then they’re going to need at least one playmaker at the linebacker position.
<p>Jarrad Davis has steadily risen up boards of late. Not a surprise since he’s a much better player than he gets credit for. Like most linebackers he’s a solid tackler who plays the run well. It’s his instinct and athleticism that make him stand out from the pack. Word is he’s a pack leader type who puts in the work too. Add all that up and it’s a potential stud in the NFL.
