21. Detroit Lions

player. 50. Perhaps the most unadvertised but crippling loss to a defense over the past couple years was when DeAndre Levy went down for the Detroit Lions. Battered by injuries, their front seven was just never the same without the Pro Bowl linebacker manning his station. It’s a big reason why the entire defense dropped in overall effectiveness. They really don’t have any linebackers worthy of note besides the role player tag.
Haason Reddick could begin to change that. He proved at Temple, the Senior Bowl and the scouting combine that he could become a versatile playmaker on defense. His size is made for a 4-3 outside linebacker but he plays bigger than that. Not only can he tackle and play coverage, he was also highly effective as a pass rusher. Such qualities are need from that position more than ever as Detroit tries to build on what they did last year.
. OLB. Temple. Haason Reddick . 21
