2nd Round

Ole Miss. Evan Engram . 2. player. 57. Don’t be fooled by the Dion Simms addition. He’s a solid blocker and may be ascending as a pass catcher, but he does not solve the Bears’ issues at tight end. Zach Miller is 33-years old and coming off another season-ending knee injury. Daniel Brown and Ben Braunecker are unproven second-year guys. There is no legitimate weapon on this roster that the team can really expect to rely on as they try to break in a new quarterback.
That would explain why they’re meeting with Evan Engram. He is a freaky fast pass target out of Ole Miss built in the type of Shannon Sharpe and Jordan Reed. Maybe a little undersized but an absolute matchup nightmare who is too fast for linebackers and too big for safeties and most corners. Put him in the middle of the field with Cameron Meredith on the outside and Jordan Howard at running back? That looks like the makings of an impact offense.
. TE
