#8:  Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

Canada has produced plenty of great NFL talent over the decades. One of their best representatives currently playing is Kansas City Chiefs guard Duvernay-Tardif. He doesn’t get a lot of press but the young man just inked a five-year contract extension for a reason. He might be one of the top 10 pass protecting interior linemen in the NFL and a big reason Alex Smith continues to put forth some quality play. It’s possible a Pro Bowl could be in this mans’ near future.

#7:  Sebastian Janikowski

The artist affectionately known as “Sea Bass.”  Another one who might qualify for the “Hefty Lefty” moniker. Janikowski has remained the strong southpaw kicker for the Oakland Raiders dating all the way back to 2000. He has a Pro Bowl and a 63-yard field goal on his record in the NFL. There are three seasons in his career where he’s averaged 89% accuracy. He also has 55 kicks made from beyond 50 yards. Not bad for a guy from the gritty frontier of Poland.
