Kansas City Chiefs: Five Quarterback Options for the Future
By Josh Marion
Brad Kaaya QB Miami: Rounds 2-3
I debated between Davis Webb and Brad Kaaya for quite some time here, but I ultimately decided on Brad Kaaya due to the fact that Davis Webb will be over drafted, possibly in the back half of the first round.
Brad Kaaya seems to be the forgotten man in this year’s crop of QB prospects. Kaaya has the size, playing experience, football IQ, and the accuracy that you look for in a QB, but his lack of consistency in his throws down the field, and his lack of ability to evade pressure from the pocket are enough to drop him out of the 1st round.
While those would be considerable issues at the next level, the Andy Reid system is the perfect system for the QB out of The U. The reason being is Kaaya would be making quick, short throws behind a capable offensive line, therefore making up for some of his major downsides as a prospect.
Other Possible Draft Prospects
