29. Green Bay Packers

Wisconsin. T.J. Watt . 29. player. 49. Julius Peppers is gone. Suddenly a pass rush that was already hot and cold for the Green Bay Packers becomes more questionable. Nick Perry is back but he could be a one-year wonder. Clay Matthews isn’t getting any younger. Kyler Fackrell is unproven to this point. This team needs to do a better job protecting leads, and the pass rush is vital to that. So adding another proven body on the edge is exactly what they want.
Where better to get it than right in their own backyard from the University of Wisconsin? Not only that but the actual blood relative of the best pass rusher in the NFL in J.J. Watt. Linebacker T.J. Watt really came on in 2016, showcasing a mix of length, motor, and athleticism that made him a constant presence in opposing backfields. Keeping him in Wisconsin for the states’ NFL darling would be a big win for fans.
. OLB
