27. Kansas City Chiefs

CB. Washington. Kevin King . 27. player. 124. Of course the quarterback discussion is ongoing for the Kansas City Chiefs after another underwhelming playoff finish with Alex Smith. Still, this is a team driven by their defense. Keeping that strong is absolutely crucial to their success. Nowhere is that concentrated more than the secondary. Eric Berry and Marcus Peters are the two pillars of that group, but it’s one that could still use another able body. Preferably at the corner position.
One loss the Chiefs might still be lamenting is Sean Smith. His long frame and athletic skill were never fully appreciated. So why not go after somebody who is so much like him? Kevin King is a ridiculous 6’3″ corner from Washington who has rare athleticism and fluidity for somebody his size. That makes him a dangerous man in coverage as it’s difficult to test him because of the long arms and ample ball skills.
