18. Denver Broncos (via TEN)

Ryan Ramczyk . 18. player. 45. If last season proved anything it was that the Denver Broncos can’t rely on their dominant defense anymore. The team needs more help from the offensive side of the ball. Help they too often couldn’t get because of their ongoing problems with the offensive line. A group that allowed 40 sacks and blocked for the 27th ranked rushing attack in the league last year. That’s not going to cut it. Not if they want another crack at a Lombardi trophy.
That’s why they jump up a few spots to snag Ryan Ramczyk. Most agree the Wisconsin left tackle is the best in this draft. A big guy with the prerequisite power for the ground game. Where he stands out is his athleticism and foot quickness. A true pass protector who isn’t going to get beat very often. Not if his technique and fundamentals are sound. This is a critical step in order for Denver to get back on track.
. OT. Wisconsin
