14. Philadelphia Eagles (via MIN)

Gareon Conley . 14. player. 54. Having added Torrey Smith and Alshon Jeffery in free agency, the Philadelphia Eagles were able to solve their biggest problem on the roster. Namely finding their young quarterback Carson Wentz some quality weapons. Going into the draft they’re able to focus more at other areas. A big one that really hampered them last year was the cornerback. Not just in terms of overall talent but also depth. Expect them to focus in that area.
Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is going to love Gareon Conley. Though not quite as gifted as his former teammate Lattimore, he’s a good athlete who might be the better technicians. For such a young man he plays the position as if he were already a 10-year veteran. He doesn’t make a lot of mistakes, doesn’t draw penalties and makes receivers work extra hard to beat him in coverage. He’ll be a great fit for their system.
. CB. Ohio State
