12. Cleveland Browns (via PHI)

North Carolina. Mitch Trubisky . 12. player. 53. This is the dream scenario for the Browns. They secure their pass rusher with Garrett at #1 but of course people will be concerned about the team still not having a quarterback. At that point they must make a tough decision. Do they try to make a move up to get the guy they want or do they basically dare other teams to dilute the pool? In this case Cleveland sticks to their guns and end up getting the hometown hero they covet.
Mitch Trubisky is an Ohio native who grew up watching the Browns. He’s said on multiple occasions that it’s his dream to play for the franchise. Now he gets his chance. Trubisky may be the most inexperienced quarterback of the top four, but he also may be the most skilled. He’s got the solid arm and mobility, but where he really stands out is his natural understanding of footwork, pocket presence and reading defenses. There is work to do, but he’s worth the effort.
. QB
