The Chiefs were expected to have a three-headed monster of Jamaal Charles, Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West heading into the 2016 season. The trio wasn’t as effective as anticipated, with Charles missing the year with injuries and Ware missing some time mid-season with a concussion. Now that Charles has been released and Knile Davis signed with Pittsburgh, Chiefs have only two backs on the roster.

Williams dominated for the Cougars last season, running for over 1300 yards in 10 games. He would fit in well with the Chiefs as his size is somewhere in between that of Ware and West. This would allow the team to be more creative with how they use their backs.

Other 4th round fits: Marlon Mack RB South Florida, Jerod Evans QB Virginia Tech, Connor Harris LB Lindenwood, Dawuane Smoot EDGE Illinois
