4th Round

Eddie Jackson . 111. player. 57. Eddie Jackson really does get lost in a loaded safety class. Probably because he hasn’t played the position for very long (he started in 2015) and he missed much of last season with a broken leg. That said when he was on the field the guy was an absolute natural. He has good size, favorable speed and some of the best ball skills in the draft. The Bears badly need a rangy safety who can go get some turnovers. Jackson could be a steal.. S. Alabama

4th Round (via BUF)

player. 57. The release of Ego Ferguson, while not surprising in the slightest, does add further concerns to the depth issue along the defensive line for the Bears. Another body at the end position would be a big help. Carlos Watkins didn’t convince a lot of people last season that he’s becoming a serious defensive lineman after notching 10.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss, helping Clemson to win a national title. He’s got size, athleticism and pass rush skill. The nitpicking can be ignored at this point.. DE. Clemson. Carlos Watkins . 117
