5th Round

RB. Coastal Carolina. De'Angelo Henderson . 147. player. 57. Could the Bears strike gold for the second-straight year on a running back in the 5th round? Crazier things have happened. This class is very deep at the position. Don’t be fooled by De’Angelo Henderson. He may be short (5’7″) and come from a smaller program. There is nothing minuscule about how this young man plays. He runs with vision and quickness, able to find cracks in the line of scrimmage and then avoid ball carriers with impressive cuts.
He’s also not light on strength either, showing an ability to break tackles. Throw in receiving prowess and blocking skill, he sounds like a quality #2 back to team with Jordan Howard. Due to his speed he’d make the idea third down back, able to create mismatches depending on situation. At the same time he seems to have the toughness of handle solid workloads of carries. Don’t be fooled by the what’s on the outside. Henderson can play.
