7. Los Angeles Chargers

Malik Hooker . 7. player. 13. The Chargers forge ahead to what they hope will be a bright future in Los Angeles. In order to do so, they have to draw fans and nothing draws fans more than winning games. The best avenue the Chargers have towards that end is the promising defense they’ve been constructing. Their front seven is loaded with potential Pro Bowl talents, so if they want to take it to the next level they have to find a true difference-maker for the secondary.
Malik Hooker took the college football world by storm last season. Despite starting in just his first year and dealing with multiple injuries, he managed to snag seven interceptions and score three defensive touchdowns. The in-house legend is he had 40 interceptions on the scout team in practice. Point being that Hooker looks like an elite-caliber ball hawk at free safety. Such types are exceedingly rare. Put him behind a Joey Bosa-infused pass rush? Magic.
. S. Ohio State
