6. Cleveland Browns (via CHI)

Deshaun Watson . 6. player. 53. Having missed out on Trubisky, the Cleveland Browns know they can’t afford to wait much longer to get a starting quarterback they want. They have more than enough ammunition to make a move up in this regard thanks to the litany of trades made over the past year. Sacrificing a few to secure their future signal caller is a worthwhile price to pay. Chicago offers them a reasonable deal for #6 that involved limited future picks.
In exchange they’re able to secure the most accomplished quarterback in recent college football history. Deshaun Watson was a superstar throughout the 2015 and 2016 seasons for Clemson. He vanquished Nick Saban and his mighty Alabama Crimson Tide in the national championship. Something that had never happened to Saban in his coaching career. He’s athletic, charismatic, intelligent and cool under pressure. Not to mention tough. Everything Cleveland will need their quarterback to be.
. QB. Clemson
