11. New Orleans Saints

LB. Temple. Haason Reddick . 11. player. 15. The New Orleans Saints weren’t specific in regards to their plans at rebuilding the defense through the draft. It was just implied that would be their focus. Will it be a pass rusher? Will it be a cover corner? It really doesn’t matter. They need help across the board. That is how bad things have gotten over the past few years. A byproduct of having no stability in the defensive coaching staff and a head coach who has no clue how to fix it.
At this point they just need to get good players. Haason Reddick has proven to be that. He was a highly productive linebacker and pass rusher at Temple before showcasing his impressive athletic array at the Senior Bowl and scouting combine. It seems like anything a team asks him to do, he’ll do it. The guy understands how to play with just the right mix of passion and calm. It leads to a lot of big plays. He’ll do a lot for that Saints front seven.
