2nd Round

East Carolina. Zay Jones . 2. player. 16. Buffalo wasn’t overly strong at wide receiver to begin with when the offseason started. Now Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin are gone. That just leaves Sammy Watkins who hasn’t been able to stay healthy. There is no way the team can make it out of the first two rounds in this draft without making some sort of investment at the position. Not without hanging Taylor and the passing game out to dry. Luckily a strong class helps out.
Easily the biggest riser of the predraft process. Zay Jones was a nobody. That is until he dominated the Senior Bowl. There teams witnessed his impressive mix of size and speed, along with a natural sense for making the play every time the ball came in his direction. He followed it up with a solid scouting combine as well. Combined with his outstanding college production, this looks like a young man made for the big stage. He’ll make a welcome addition.
. WR
