Lardarius Webb (Baltimore Ravens)

I’ve mentioned Webb before. He has experience playing cornerback, but a recent transition to safety seems to have brought new life into his career. He’s a veteran player that would be a starter right away, and his addition wouldn’t prevent Dallas from looking to the draft for a younger talent to develop.

More from NFL Mocks

Darius Butler (Indianapolis Colts)

Former Colts’ defensive back Darius Butler has been equally versatile, playing both cornerback and safety in recent years. While he’s only 5’10”, his ability to play all over the field and thrive in the slot would bring more diversity to the Dallas’ secondary. At 30 years old, he also wouldn’t prevent the Cowboys’ from addressing the position in the draft.

T.J. McDonald (Los Angeles Rams)

A younger player that would potentially be a long-term starter, McDonald is a physical safety that will remind many of J.J. Wilcox. Flying all over the field, McDonald isn’t afraid of the big hit and won’t shy away from tackles. While he isn’t as reliable in coverage, he’d be a nice fit next to current starter Byron Jones.

Bradley McDougald (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Another young safety that has been getting better with age, McDouglad was a solid safety for the Bucs. He finished the last two seasons with a combined 178 tackles and four interceptions to go along with 14 passes defended. While he isn’t a big name, at 26 years old he is capable of being a long-term starter and would likely come cheaper than other options.
