8. Tennessee Titans (via CAR)

Clemson. Mike Williams . 8. player. 35. The inability to get a quality wide receiver in free agency looms large for the Tennessee Titans. Marcus Mariota was productive last year but his star power will be directly tied to the quality of weapons he’s throwing to. Rishard Lewis and Tajae Sharp are great secondary options, but they aren’t go-to guys. They can’t be the ones that Mariota looks for with 10 seconds left and needing a first down to get in field goal range.
That’s a job reserved for somebody like Mike Williams. He proved that much with his play down the stretch in the national championship game. Don’t be discouraged by his average speed. Williams is about more than that. He’s got size, vertical skills, strong hands and that difficult ability to win 50/50 situation almost consistently. Throw the ball in his area and the odds are he’ll catch it. Doesn’t matter if it’s deep down the field or in the congestion of the red zone.
. WR
