Cleveland has acquired Brock Osweiler and will essentially eat his contract

A trade that will go down in history as the most creative, and maybe controversial in NFL history has just been completed.

The Texans have traded quarterback Brock Osweiler and his enormous contract and a 2018 second round pick to the Cleveland Browns for a fourth a sixth-round pick.

It’s a trade that comes straight out of the NBA where the Browns, who entered free agency with more than $100 million in cap, will simply eat Osweiler’s contract and receive a second round pick for doing so.

Cleveland can now either cut Osweiler, play him, or trade him.

Houston now has $10 million in cap space available, and have the ability to acquire Tony Romo from the Dallas Cowboys.

It’s madness and the insiders can not wrap their heads around it.

Houston has paid a second-round pick and $16 million to Cleveland to take on the contract of Osweiler.

We will have more on this move and other offseason trades as the free agency period gets underway.
