57. Eddie Royal is guaranteed to be gone by the time free agency starts and there is a chance Alshon Jeffery could be right behind him. That will remove a lot of experience and playmaking skill from the Bears wide receiving corps. It also increases the likelihood the team will have to address the position in the draft. One thing they’ve tried to emphasize more in recent years is speed. They are seeking more explosive plays on that side of the ball. <p>Chris Godwin initially got overlooked for his average frame and build but things have changed. After watching him dominate down the stretch for Penn State in 2016 and then witnessing his excellent scouting combine, teams are starting to figure out he’s pretty good.
