It’s always an exciting week at the NFL Scouting Combine. With the combine, we find out who the fluid athletes are and what players get stuck in the mud. There were plenty of players who improved their 2017 NFL Draft stock, let’s take a look at the latest NFL Mock Draft.

So much doubt is placed upon the quarterbacks in this 2017 NFL Draft, and personally, it sounds like it could be better than expected. Mitchell Trubisky, QB from North Carolina, has been lost in the shuffle for weeks. Maybe not for all draft evaluators, but for me, he was. However, he proved himself at the Scouting Combine by showing his athletic ability with great times. Running a 4.67 time in the 40-yard dash, a 6.87 second time in the three-cone drill and a 4.25 second time in the 20-yard shuttle. On top of all that, he connected with a vast majority of his throws and had himself an all-around day.

For his competition, Deshaun Watson hushed many of his critics. As always, he looked calm and ready. Completing and delivering great passes through every drill. He looks smooth on his drop back and doesn’t rush through any of his throwing motion. Coming behind Watson was Patrick Mahomes. He had himself a day and is making everyone go back to his tapes. Mahomes is a hard worker and needs to fix his mechanics, but he shouldn’t be viewed as an instant starter in this league. There’s even speculation that he could be the next Brett Favre. Time will tell with this quarterback class, but they hold the key to what can happen within many of the picks of the first round. Let’s dive into this Post-Combine 2017 NFL Mock Draft!
