6. New York Jets

30. It’s clearer than ever that the New York Jets are cleaning house. Every conceivable veteran player whom they deem too expensive has been cut. That includes Darrelle Revis, one of their most experienced cornerbacks. This team is in store for a serious rebuild and the best way to start might involve building around their young and talented defensive front. Often that should involve trying to add a cover corner who can survive on an island.
Marshon Lattimore has steadily gained status as the best in this draft class. He checks just about every box. Big, well-built, fast, athletic and showing good development in his technique and fundamentals. He played against top competition at Ohio State as well. His production was also solid. There really aren’t many drawbacks to consider with him. If anybody can get that secondary retooling off the ground, it’s him.
. CB. Ohio State. Marshon Lattimore . 6. player
